What is poll everywhere and wordle?

In this class we used poll everywhere to determine what words we were going to use to create our wordle. Poll everywhere we asked a question to the class, and they answered it creating a word list for the owner of the poll. We then took the answers and created our wordle, the answers were created into the wordle with the most frequent answers being bigger and bolder and so on.
By being a teach I would use these tools in the classroom as much as possible to make the class not so boring. I think it will get students out there to use these and make it easier on projects by getting the feedback they would need. Students don't always get to have the ability to explore these areas, escpecially if they don't know about them. I know that I did not learn about any of these until this semester when taking this class. I am glad that I was able to explore these options to bring into my classroom, and hopefully to promote these skills to other students.
With my Education focusing on FACS I would use polls everywhere to ask the students what type of project they would like to engage in for their sewing project. With this I would still let the student pick their individual projects, but let them see as a class what the overall choices were. I would include the poll and wordle into a powerpoint lecture and let them see how this worked. I would then have them use these tools later on as a group project.
